THE RETIRED GANG...
Alot of time,
training, money and sometimes heartache goes into a breeding
program. When you bring home a puppy its not always a sure thing they will
turn out with what it takes to become a valuable breeding animal.
Temperament, health, structure, trainability, socialization are just a few of
the traits we look for in our dogs. If for any reason one of our prospects
does not meet our standards, they will be spayed or neutered and placed in a new
home or will become one of our pets.

"ALTANA'S LISA"
Lisa was going to be our first breeding bitch but
unfortunately had very bad hips and had to be spayed. She is the
"queen" around here and with her sweet, affectionate
temperament, all the dogs and puppies love and respect her. She spends her days lounging around on our 2 1/2
acres with her favorite companion Smokie, our cat.

"J THREE BAR JAKE VON TEREMARC"
We acquired Jake at 5 months old and he had never been
off the 40 acre farm where he was born. At the advice of a trainer
he was neutered and not used for breeding, however this did not keep him
from getting his CD in obedience and become a fully trained personal
protection dog. He takes his job very seriously... although he will
take time out to play with our puppies!

"ARYA HOLLY-BEN"
Arya was purchased as a breeding female but due to mild
hip dysplasia in both hips we are unable to use her in our breeding
program. However, she has excellent nerves and ball drive and is
working in Schutzhund and doing well. She shows no signs of pain or
discomfort and really enjoys the work! We hope to title her later
this year and have fun with her as long as we can.

"NARNIA'S C ASPEN VON TEREMARC"
We imported Aspen from a breeder in Canada and after
giving us 4 litters of puppies, the last ending up a c-section, the vet
recommended she be spayed. She continues to be Sierra's close
companion and loves to do agility and even an occassional bitework
session!

"JORA JIPO ME"
We imported Jora from the Czech Republic in
the hopes of her becoming one of our foundation brood bitches.
Unfortunately, after having x-rayed perfect hips, she showed signs of mild
dysplasia 2 years later and therefore we had her spayed. She did
manage to achieve her CGC, CD, BH and AD titles though! She now
spends her days playing mom to all the other dogs and pups...and is good
at keeping the couch warm too!

"LENA CEPERKOV DVOR"
Lena has only been with us a short time but has become
very much at home here. We bought her bred to Faro Policia in the
hopes of her being one of our top brood bitches. However, she had a
single puppy and prior to doing a c-section, her uterine horn torsioned
causing the uterus to rupture. The vet was able to save her but not
the pup and she was spayed. Lena enjoys playing ball and loves
everyone. We are now sharpening up her obedience training and
teaching her personal protection.
LENA HAS BEEN SOLD AND NOW IN
TRAINING FOR AN ASSISTANCE DOG FOR HER NEW OWNER |
